As the end of 2020 fast approaches, and restrictions to combat COVID tighten, we are reflecting on what has been a very eventful year at Chilworth Partnership and Venture Recruitment Partners, with some significant achievements in such testing times. As the leaders of our business, we have found the last nine months hugely challenging, but there have been many high moments that we would like to share as positive news and give thanks to our committed team of consultants.
Gold service award!
In June of this year, Chilworth Partnership was recognised by the Institute of Interim Managers (IIM) for its high level of service as an Interim Management provider. We were once again awarded a Gold accreditation and moved up the national rankings for the sixth year running to 28th place.
We are immensely proud of this achievement as the market is fiercely competitive and we were being judged against providers of a wide variety of interim professionals, not just finance. We would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our consultants but also importantly the excellent provision of services by our professional contractors.
September 2020 marked our tenth anniversary.
Ten years ago, Richard Carter and Rod Hutchings reunited, with help from Office Manager Lynne Kelsey, to form Chilworth Partnership. Yes, we know we don’t look a day older, but it really has been ten years, and we very much look forward to celebrating our anniversary with all our valued clients and candidates hopefully in 2021.
Embracing the online world!
Since then we have come a long way and have certainly embraced new technologies in 2020. Our own digital profile has rocketed as we now have over 4,000 followers on LinkedIn, plus the online Business Magazine recently ran a story on our ten-year milestone. (Click to read now)
Online Executive seminars & events.
During 2020 we also ran a series of informative and educational online events with a range of subject-expert speakers, many of whom are long-term friends and partners to our business. These sessions have proven very popular and helpful to many during these difficult times. The topics have ranged from tips on managing Well Being to Crisis Management and most recently Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). Click now to listen to our D&I Seminar
On another positive note, we are working with clients in specific sectors that have experienced growth this year, such as Construction, Financial Services, Utilities, Defence, and FMCG. They are all needing to recruit to expand their teams to meet changing business requirements. For those companies hiring during the ‘new normal’ of remote working, we have developed a free guide to remote onboarding. Click now to download
We hope that this winter, you and your loved ones remain in good health. We are here to help, so please do get in touch with us whether you are seeking a new opportunity or a new addition to your team.
Best wishes for a safe, healthy, and successful 2021,
Richard Carter, Rod Hutchings & Ruth Snell
