2021 Recruitment Update ~ October


Dear Customers

October 2021 marks 19 months after the Covid crisis first reared its ugly and disruptive head. We are all still not “out of the woods” fully, but there have been some considerable developments that are helping us on the road to recovery.

With October arriving, we notice a different feel to everything; the weather is changing, children are fully back to school, the roads are busier, and offices are starting to open their doors to more of their staff.

The vast majority of our clients are starting to embrace hybrid working as “the new norm” and this looks to be the way forward for many businesses.

We’re pleased to say that market conditions for our Venture business particularly, are extremely buoyant, with a high demand for transactional, part qualified, and qualified finance professionals. Temporary, interim, and FTC demand is also high.

Our flagship brand dealing with higher-level interim and permanent roles is also starting to show more movement as clients look for specialised business transformation expertise as they put into practice their revised strategies and plans now that we emerge out of the pandemic.

We have also seen an encouraging uplift of genuine inquiries in the permanent senior finance market; we’re optimistic that much of these will develop into new assignment briefings.

We hope that this Autumn, not only does the weather improve and stop constantly raining but that you and your loved ones remain in good health and spirits.
