The founders’ working relationship started in 1990 culminating in the establishment of this executive search and interim management business for finance and accountancy professionals. In 2013 a sub-division, Venture Recruitment Partners was launched delivering part-qualified and qualified financial recruitment services. They are thrilled that the business continues to thrive especially during these exceptional times.

Based on the University’s Science Park near Southampton, Chilworth Partnership has supported many local businesses across the south over the past decade in its search for both permanent and interim finance professionals, with Carter, Hutchings and Snell building on their exceptional reputation in the financial recruitment market on the South Coast, established over the last few decades.

Adapting to change

In recent months the Covid-19 pandemic has driven significant change for the Chilworth Partnership team, to which the directors are proud to have successfully adapted, influenced by a changing market and an influx of new candidates seeking opportunities. Most notable is an organisational change to the team structure, adapting its focus to meet market demands by expanding its temporary and contract resource within the Venture Recruitment Partners division of the business, with immediate results.

In addition, it is providing more online support for all its clients and candidates through downloadable recruitment guides. From its website, chilworthpartnership.co.uk, online interview tips for finance executives can be accessed, and for all HR professionals and in-house recruiters its free Onboarding Remotely guide – which provides all the information you need to welcome a new recruit, help them settle in and ensure they have the knowledge and support they need from day one– can also be downloaded.

Online executive learning and networking events for finance professionals have also been a big focus for the team at Chilworth Partnership, hosting numerous monthly online roundtables and interactive seminars on the latest sector updates and progressive exec learning programs.

Award-winning service

In July of this year, Chilworth Partnership was accredited as a gold service provideScreenshot 2020-10-19 at 11.39.23 AMr for the second year running by the Institute of Interim Management, placing it in the top echelons nationally for firms who specialise in providing interim management services.

Each year the Institute of Interim Management (IIM) conducts and publishes its survey of the Interim Market. The IIM awards recognise, celebrate, and reward recruitment agencies who demonstrate a genuine culture of professionalism when helping to place interim managers on assignments with client organisations.

Looking beyond Brexit and the Coronavirus the team at Chilworth Partnership and Venture Recruitment Partners are immensely excited about the year ahead (and the next 10 years) and feel even though it is in such uncertain times and it is harder for recruiters to predict what the future will bring, what it does know is that it will come out of this better prepared and more equipped to assist all its clients and candidates.
