Leadership Debate 2021– Thriving through the pandemic and beyond

Date: Wednesday 17th March

Time: 13.00 – 14.30

Chaired by: General Sir Richard Barrons KCB CBE

We would like to invite you to join the 2021 Leadership Debate, online, hosted in partnership with the Southampton Business School and J.P.Morgan.

  • How can we learn from successful organisations that have survived and thrived during this pandemic?
  • What leadership strategies and agendas did these successful organisations adopt?
  • What can we learn from these thriving businesses, their new strategies, innovation, and in particular their agility?

For many business leaders, 2020 has been the most challenging year in recent history. The uncertainty and complexity of the environment has led to huge business challenges, with many strong legacy businesses failing. Businesses that were seen as bulletproof have gone to the wall and entire business sectors are still under threat as never seen before however many businesses have thrived and grown in the same period. What lessons can be learned?Screenshot 2021-03-02 at 3.12.01 PM

The Executive Learning Partnership annual Leadership Debate will once again be Chaired by General Sir Richard Barrons KCB CBE, alongside our excellent panel members who are leaders in their respective areas of expertise.

What to expect from the Leadership Debate?

The ELP debate will be held in Question Time format.  The ELP Leadership debate needs each participant’s incisive and relevant questions around these leadership challenges, posed to the panel which will create thought-provoking discussions. Southampton Business School, in partnership with JP Morgan, looks forward to providing a platform to explore differing perspectives and generate new insights beyond the current thinking, relating to these business-critical subjects especially during these challenging times.
