Meet the Guest Panel:  

Will Crumbie – CEO at Fatface  

From Chartered Accountant to CEO, Will a Deloitte qualified Cambridge graduate, has worked both in corporate & operational businesses across multiple sectors.

Over his 20 years of experience, he’s completed refinancing, an IPO process as well as corporate M&A transactions. In 2014 he joined clothing brand, Fat Face, where his strong all-around skills and personable and balanced approach took him from CFO to CEO. 

Sheila Wye – CEO at Vaughan Limited 

CIMA qualified and having previously been a Financial Director for large retail organisations both Private Equity and family-owned, Sheila has some impressive achievements, including leading the global expansion of Cath Kidston across Europe and Asia.

Sheila has been CEO of Vaughan Designs for the past 4 years, having joined them as CFO 5 years ago. In her time as CEO, Sheila has grown sales from £15m to £20m.

Mark Baskerville – Chief Executive Officer at Highwood Group 

Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant working with KPMG and has had several senior commercial finance appointments before joining Highwood Group as CFO in 2018.

Being a highly driven and self-motivated individual, Mark combined his technical knowledge, commercial outlook, and bigger picture appreciation, to add meaningful input to Highwood Group’s strategy, taking on the role as their CEO in 2021.

David French – Chief Executive at University Hospital Southampton NHS 

With over 20 years of experience in UK and international blue-chip global organisations, including Eli Lilly, ICI, AstraZeneca, and Genzyme, David, a CIMA qualified accountant, has a demonstrated track record of people leadership and development.

With 12 years’ Board experience of NHS leadership, David is currently CEO of University Hospital Southampton, a teaching hospital with 14,000 employees and a turnover of £1.1bn.
